in 1915 and as a Center at the University of Pittsburgh was selected All American. As with his brother Russ was a member of one of Niles', Greatest Teams in 1914.
He played
professionally for Buffalo, Frankford Yellow Jackets and the Pottsville
Maroons.

Adrian Grainger Ford
one of the greatest FB in Niles History and started at FB for Lafayette University. He played professionally for the Frankford Yellow Jackets and Pottsville Maroons.

| Reno V Jones |
Walter Camp
for his College All American Team considered Reno V Jones, a starter for Cornell University in 1920 and 1921. Invited to the Rose Bowl the University President nixed it.
Reno, the Karl Singer of his day was so good and popular here in Niles that the city
named Reno Street in his honor. Anchored the offensive and defensive line of the
1913 & 1914 Niles teams.

Another great Niles FB/LB Lou
Tabor flies through the air to pick up extra yardage in 1967.
Lou goes down as one of Niles' greats as he held down the FB
and LB slot for two years in 1967 and 68. He earned All Trumbull County
Second Team (HB) 1967, All American Conference First Team (LB) 1967, Massillon
Jaycees Sportsmanship Award (FB) 1968 and All American Conference Honorable Mention (LB) 1968.

Russ Stein
scored a TD in the Rose Bowl but called back. At Washington & Jefferson brought about LB position, selected All American and
in 1957 inducted into College Hall of Fame

professionally for the Toledo Maroons, Frankford Yellow Jackets, Pottsville

| Herb and Russ Stein |
Picture taken of brothers, Herb and Russ Stein in 1924, when both played professionally
for the Frankford Yellow Jackets. Both played for about six years for various teams. Russ in later years
became Sheriff of Trumbull County, land developer in Niles
and sports writer. Herb eventually made his way to Rocky River, Ohio where he became involved in ore reclamation and other ventures.
Paul Lally
the best HB in Niles History prior to 1960 and one of the greatest ever. Set rushing and scoring records that were number
one until the 60's hit. Still in the top five or top ten in many categories.
Played for
Niles from 1911 to 1914.

Mike Nori a hard charging FB held that position in 1958 and 1959. Mike,
Jim Skiffey and Nick Roberts each rushed for 100-yards in a single game VS. Girard in 1958. The only time that has ever happened
in Niles history.

Earl Hoker
served as Head Coach for Niles McKinley longer than any other HC. From 1934 to 1946, he accumulated a record of 51 Wins, 61
Losses and 12 Ties. His best team was in 1942 when the Dragons record was 8-1.
